How Did I End Up Here?

1. Probably, because your IP address is being blocked by one of our sites.- OR
2. You tried to access a file or folder on one of our sites that you have no legitimate reason for accessing.

We block IP addresses known/reported for being used in illegal activities such as scamming, spamming and content scrapping.

We also block the whole network of IPs for the providers that allows these people to continue.

I use a proxy service. Why Am I Here?

We take the stand that there is NO LEGITIMATE REASON to use a proxy server.
So, we try our best to block ALL IPs known to belong to companies offering proxy services.

YOU might say there is a reason for using them. They protect my identity by allowing me to surf anonymously.
I would hate to think that you've been mislead that much.

Let's think this through:

1. You're dealing with a company whose main source of income is hiding the IPs of criminals.
2. They make their living off of the people they say they're protecting you from.
3. AND at the same time, they're collecting sell-able information from you. (You are paying for the service, right?) And don't forget, they know YOUR real IP.

Aren't  you afraid of losing sales at these sites by blocking so many IPs?
NO. Besides, we're not greedy.

While we've been watching our server logs over the past year, we found that only about 25-30% of the IPs deserved to be blocked.
That still leaves a good 70% of real worthwhile people.

More importantly, we've noticed that our conversion ratio (visitors -to- customers) has increased considerably, and our Advertising conversion ratio (Click Thru -to- Sale)  has actually doubled.
This is attributed directly to blocking all those bot, scrapper and link checker IPs that are not real people.
